Texas Folklife Festival
Jean Schnitz participated, for her 27th time, in the Texas Folklife Festival in San Antonio on June 13-15, 2008, playing her dulcimer on Stage 8.

Rhett Rushing, John Davis, and Rosemary Davis presided at the Storytelling Stage where Scott Bumbardner and Donna Ingham were storytellers several times a day. Acayla and Sierra Haile (billed as the "Haile Sisters" were also on that stage.

Lee, Karen, Acayla, and Sierra Haile and a friend or two were at the Texas Toymakers Booth, and Lee roamed the grounds with his guitar, looking for a chance to jam with someone! He found it several times!

Mary Nell and Gene Young fiddled away on stage all afternoon and evening all three days with more than one group of fiddlers.

Make the trip to attend this annual event and experience all the cultures that make up our great state. You'll enjoy it.
